ABLE Youth

Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the ABLE Youth program has impacted the lives of over 250 children and families since they began in 1997. ABLE Youth is a nonprofit organization that serves children and young adults with disabilities and their families by creating opportunities in learning independence, skills and sports. The children are taught The ABLE Way GC™: Adapt, Believe, Love and Enjoy life.

The Challenge

ABLE Youth, a Nashville-based nonprofit serving children and young adults with disabilities, needed a design solution for their annual fundraising basketball tournament. Their unique challenge was creating promotional materials that were fully accessible and considerate of their players, many of whom use wheelchairs.

The design had to ensure important visuals and information were not cut off or obscured when viewed from a seated position. ABLE Youth came to Mane Impact looking for a thoughtful, inclusive design that would reflect their mission and resonate with the community while supporting their fundraising goals.
